The Executive/Personnel Committee meeting will be held on

Monday, March 8, 2021

at 6:30 pm

in the County Board Meeting Room, second floor of the

Christian County Courthouse, Taylorville, Illinois.

In accordance with EXECUTIVE ORDER 2020-07 issued by Governor Pritzker, this meeting will be conducted via remote participation and

to comply with social distancing County Board members and applicable department heads will have preference prior to public seating. There are 19 seats in the county board room and 24 in courtroom C. These meetings will continue to be done by free conference call.com as well.

The purpose of this meeting is for discussions and/or motions to approve/adopt and /or deny and/or table and/or amend and/or refer to an appropriate Committee in whole or in part the following:

 

  1. Discuss return to Illinois County Board Members Association.
  2. Discuss upcoming requirement of redistricting and size of board members due to 2020 census numbers.
  3. Discuss the attendance at CB meetings for County Board appointed/hired department heads.
  4. Review changes to CB Rules.
  5. Discuss ethics appointments.
  6. Animal Control request for THS student intern.
  7. ESDA Director contract.
  8. Review job description for Maintenance Supervisor.
  9. Review procedures for appointment of County Clerk position.
  10. Discuss the hire of consultants.
  11. Personnel issues and/or personnel/other county policies/procedures, personnel or labor updates or any other matters or referrals that properly come before the committee and/or comments from the public.
