The Finance Committee meeting will be held on

Thursday, August 13, 2020

at 6:30 pm

in the County Board Meeting Room, second floor of the

Christian County Courthouse, Taylorville, Illinois.

In accordance with EXECUTIVE ORDER 2020-07 issued by Governor Pritzker, this meeting will be conducted via remote participation and

Phase 4 does allow us to social distance and to have more people in a room.  However, none of the rooms at the courthouse can accommodate 50 people with social distancing. These meetings will continue to be done by freeconferencecall.com . County Board members and applicable department heads will have preference to in house seating.

The purpose of this meeting is for discussions and/or motions to approve/adopt and /or deny and/or table and/or amend and/or refer to an appropriate Committee in whole or in part the following:

  1. Approve claims as presented for August.
  2. Budget hearing continues: Health Department, Judicial, Senior Citizens, U of I Extension, Raymond-Harvel Ambulance and CC Mental Health.
  3. Approve attorney fees to complete ZBA WECS hearing and final advisory report.
  4. Updates or proposals for Board room electronics and/or Clerk/Treasurer software programs.
  5. Accept bid from delinquent tax property in Pana Township: 11-25-22-223-002-00.
  6. Public comments.
  7. Referrals from any other committee, any other matters that are properly brought before the Committee:
