The Highway/Building Committee meeting will be held on

Tuesday, March 9, 2021

at 6:30 p.m.

at the Christian County Courthouse

101 S. Main Street, Taylorville, Illinois

In accordance with EXECUTIVE ORDER 2020-07 issued by Governor Pritzker,

this meeting will be conducted via remote participation and

to comply with social distancing County Board members and applicable department heads will have preference prior to public seating. These meetings will continue to be done by free conference call.com as well.

The purpose of this meeting is to discuss the following topics concerning building, grounds, environmental, zoning, welfare and/or county highway business and /or financial matters:

 

  1. Open sealed bids for sale of surplus property near Roby.
  2. Property management:
    1. Request for the sale of other surplus property.
    2. Discuss leasing excess property by Animal Control.
  3. Highway business:
    1. Revisit Assumption Mayor’s request for County to install warning flashing lights.
    2. Highway Matching and MFT resolutions for County Highway 12, Bear Creek Road Project.
    3. Request to approve State and Federal joint agreement for Bear Creek Road Project.
  4. Zoning business: For referral to Zoning Board of Appeals.
    1. Request for a demolish permit
    2. Certificate of occupancy
    3. Solar panel update
  5. Courthouse and building business:
    1. Watch Dogs discussion with union
    2. Knox boxes
  6. Any other matters that properly come before the committee and/or comments from the public.
